International Shipping, Freight Forwarding, and Hand Carry Terms & Conditions

If a freight forwarding service or hand-carrying is used to ship items internationally, the following applies:

• Parts Nation is not responsible for goods that are damaged, defective, materially different, or lost after they have been delivered to a freight forwarder or other third party. We will not be able to provide a refund or replacement on shipments taken outside of the U.S. through a third-party. We recommend refusing delivery of these goods if they arrive damaged and instruct your freight forwarders to do the same.

• If you purchase goods from PartsNation.com to be shipped to a U.S. location, then subsequently export these goods, you or the designated freight forwarder are considered the exporter of these goods. You or the designated freight forwarder are responsible for compliance with all export and import regulations, including all U.S. export regulations and the import regulations of your destination country. Parts Nation must not be listed on any export documentation (for example, airbills, export declarations, invoices, packing slips). It is your responsibility to ensure the freight forwarder’s most up-to-date U.S. address is used.

• International return labels will not be issued for items exported through a freight forwarder or hand-carry. In order to use a pre-paid Parts Nation Return Shipping Label, you must first return the eligible goods to a U.S. address. You become the exporter and importer of this shipment. Once the eligible goods are returned to a U.S. address, use the Return Shipping Label Label from the U.S. address to return the goods to Parts Nation’s return department at: 289 Aerojet Ave, Azusa, CA 91702.

 

For products shipped internationally, please be aware that:

• Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or postage cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to purchase. Applicable shipping costs can be calculated using the Shipping Estimate Calculator in your cart. The final cost you will pay will be confirmed at checkout.

• You authorize Parts Nation to designate a carrier (“Designated carrier”) to act as your direct or indirect representative with the relevant customs and tax authorities in the destination country to clear your merchandise. Designated carriers may disclose to Parts Nation the amount of actual import fees levied on the item you have purchased. 

• Recipients of international shipments may be subject to import taxes, fees, and customs duties (“Import Fees”), levied by the customs office of your shipping destination. Import fees vary according to customs regulations of the destination country. Customs policies can vary. Some countries also do not charge import fees for shipments that fall below a minimum value. We recommend contacting the customs office of the destination country for more information. Components that play a role in import fee calculations include:

• Product category and price

• Shipping costs and package weight

• Customs clearance channel

• Import taxes based on custom duty amounts

• Please be aware that delays at customs can affect original delivery estimates.

• Manufacturer warranty may not not be valid; manufacturer service options may be limited or not available; products may not be designed in accordance with the destination countries’ standards, specifications, and labeling requirements; and the products may not conform to destination country voltage and other electrical standards. You are responsible for assuring the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from PartsNation.com, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.

• Your privacy is important to us. We know you care about how your information is used and shared. Please be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to inspection by customs or postal authorities. We may provide certain order, shipment, and product information to our international carriers. Such information may be communicated by carriers to customs or postal authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.
